What's in your skincare fridge?

Do you have a skincare fridge? Is it even worth it?
A skincare fridge is a mini-fridge where you can put your masks, face moisturizers, beauty tools, and serums in. They’re supposed to make your skin care products work on overtime and add some magic into your routine.
But let’s see what science has to say about this.
Some say that your skincare does better when it’s chilled. But other dermatologists think that it doesn’t do anything special. Keeping your products on ice prevents bacteria from growing in your skincare products. Cold products help depuff tired, overworked skin. It also feels really good!
Products like eye serums, jade rollers, gel-based, vitamin-c, retinoids, and face-masks do better chilled but makeup and thicker creams do best on your counter. I love storing my jade roller in the fridge overnight and then rolling out my under eyes in the morning. It wakes me up and leaves my skin depuffed.
If you don’t want to spend $40-$60 on a minifridge, I don’t blame you. You can easily use your regular fridge to keep your products chilled but keep in mind that your roommates or significant other might not be too chill about it.
Overall, skincare fridges are a “good to have” but not a “need to have” item to add in your routine. Your skincare products do just fine at your room's temperature but putting them in a fridge makes your self-care just a tad more extra and let’s be real...who wouldn’t want that?
