Saad is a venture capitalist for Telstra Ventures who focuses on enterprise technology investments, particularly focusing on AI and cyber security. He was a co-founder of and served on the Young Leadership Board of New York Needs You.
Prior to Telstra Ventures, he was in corporate development at Informatica and a member of Cisco's venture investing and acquisitions team covering cloud, big data, and virtualization.
In his career, he have put over $100 million of venture capital into more than a dozen companies. In previous roles as a corporate development executive, he have executed M&A transactions valued at an aggregate of over $7 billion.
Before moving to the bay area, he worked in Mergers & Acquisitions at RBC Capital Markets and was Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch’s Global Wealth Management division in strategy.
Saad am currently a board member of Engineers of Blue Engine, Muslim Urban Professionals, and the Pakistan Rehabilitation of the Disabled Foundation, an organization that provides education to disabled lower income children of Pakistan.
Saad volunteer much of my spare time planning and coordinating numerous fundraising events for various other organizations.
Lastly, Saad is a recipient of The President's Volunteer Service Award - awarded by President Obama.
